Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving Eve Party in Germantown, MD

Everybody is back in town and nobody has to be up early. DJ Drastik and DJ Gerra run 8 PM to 1 AM, happy hour runs 3 to 6 like any other Wednesday, and at some point a turkey walks through the bar. Get here before 8: that is when the bar area goes 21 and over and the $5 cover starts.

What Happens on Thanksgiving Eve

People call it the biggest bar night of the year. Around here it is also the one night the whole graduating class is back on the same side of 270.

Doors open at 3 and happy hour runs 3 to 6 in the bar area, like any other Wednesday. Lotería takes the week off: the bingo and lotería remix moves to Tuesday, November 24. From 8 PM to 1 AM, DJ Drastik and DJ Gerra play Spanish and English hits.

After 8 the bar area is 21 and over with a $5 cover, paid at the door by credit or debit card only, no cash. The dining rooms stay all ages with no cover, so the cousins who are not 21 yet can still eat with you.

Somewhere around the second margarita, the turkey shows up. He does not explain himself. People take photos with him anyway.

The full menu runs until 10 PM and the late night menu from 10 PM to 1 AM. Last call is 12:45 AM.

Bringing Everyone You Went to High School With

Dining room reservations are on Toast Tables until Tuesday, November 24. On the 25th it is first come, first served for groups of 1 to 22, so come at happy hour, eat, and hold the table through the DJ.

We hosted a large group event here for our kids' sports team (20+ people!) and it was a great experience from start to finish. The reservation process was quick and easy, and they set up a dedicated space for us on the outdoor patio that worked perfectly for our group. There was music, but it wasn't too loud, so it created ambiance without drowning out conversations. The staff was friendly and our servers were attentive throughout, even with such a large party. The food was excellent! Everything came out hot and fresh with really authentic flavors. The fresh chips and salsa were a hit, and the drinks were unique and well made. Huge plus: our server, Emil, was able to split checks by family, which made managing orders and payments for such a large group so much easier. The ambiance was casual and fun, which was perfect for a group setting. Shout out goes to Emil, Estefania, and the staff for the excellent service! Highly recommend Señor Tequila's for families and larger group events!
