Four private rooms that seat 48 to 112, or hold up to 134 standing. A microphone and a big HDMI screen in every one. The fajita buffet from $26 a person, weekday rooms from $200 an hour, and a coordinator who gets back to you within 24 hours. December Fridays and Saturdays are going fast.
You have a budget, a date that has already moved twice, and forty people with opinions. Here is what we know about the calendar.
Fridays and Saturdays in December go first, every year, and this year they are already going. If you want a weekend, call this week. Tomas will tell you what is still open and hold a date for you.
Weeknights are the smart money. Weekday rooms start from $200 an hour, and a Tuesday party gets the same room, the same lights, the same food as a Saturday. Monday to Friday we open to the public at 3 PM, which means a lunch party can have the entire building to itself. Very large lunch groups are welcome.
Hours in the room are set booking by booking, so tell us how long the speeches run. The dates we cannot do: Thanksgiving Day, December 24 and December 25. Every other day in November and December is open, including the week between Christmas and New Year's.
If you are comparing Christmas party venues in Montgomery County, you have probably seen a lot of beige. Our rooms were hand-painted by artists from Mexico City, and from the foyer to the bar area the whole house is decorated for the holidays. Properly. Not a wreath on the door.

Our main dining room.

Our second dining room, and where most private events happen.

Under a roof, windows open all summer, warm and closed in for winter.

Sixteen tables, two long tables, a 20-seat counter, and the DJ booth.
Every room has a microphone and large TVs that take an HDMI cable, so the year-in-review slideshow and the CEO's toast both work without anyone renting a projector. Sound and lighting run from our DJ booth into your room only, or into the bar as well.
Bring your own décor, and check with us first on anything that attaches to a wall. Bring a cake if you like, there is a $20 fee for outside cake, or let our dessert kitchen do it. Room photos, the tour, and the full rundown are on private parties.
| Room | Seated | Standing | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mexican Room | 112 | 134 | Main dining room |
| International Room | 96 | 115 | Where most private events happen |
| Indoor Patio | 48 | 58 | Roofed, enclosed, warm in December |
| Bar Area | 108 | 150 | The DJ booth lives here |

Most holiday groups go buffet, and most of those go fajita buffet: from $26 a person, chicken and steak sizzling on the line, rice, beans, guacamole, and tortillas pressed by hand that morning. People go back for thirds. We plan for that.
The other way to run it is a short, handpicked menu printed for your group, so guests order what they want and nobody stands in a line in a blazer. Quotes for other setups start at $22 a person. Either way it is the kitchen our regulars drive across the county for, not a catering company's version of it.
Dessert is made in house: churros, flan, tres leches. A dessert table is a real option.
Sending people home with something? We sell tamales, pozole, birria and handmade tortillas to take home. Ask Tomas to add them to the order.
Drink tickets are the usual way. You and Tomas decide what a ticket covers and how many each guest gets, so a two-drink budget and an all-night budget both work. Anything beyond the tickets runs as a cash bar.
Two upgrades if you want them: a dedicated bartender for your room, or a mini bar set up inside it.
One thing we do not do: self-serve alcohol stations. No margarita fountain, no pour-your-own tequila table. Every drink with alcohol in it is poured by a bartender. Your HR department will like that sentence.
A mariachi for your party is a yes, depending on their availability, with a one-hour minimum. December is their busy month too, so ask when you book.
DJ, karaoke and lighting upgrades start at $499: the DJ booth, the sound system, the lighting system, karaoke in your own room, DJs and hosts. See everything on the entertainment add-ons.

Fifteen minutes. Bring whoever signs off. We go over the date, the headcount, the menu and the tickets.
It comes through our catering and private parties system. Pay in person, or on the invoice page through a secure link.
The deposit is the room fee, refundable up to 48 hours before the party.
We work with tax-exempt groups. Tell Tomas when you book and he will set the invoice up that way.
Company teams of 20 to 100, retirement send-offs, the big family dinner that outgrew the house. Some of the companies that book December with us have done it for years running.
"I had a party of 25 last Friday and the service from Jonathan and the manager Tomas was phenomenal! It was a surprise party for my mom so I needed everything to be perfect so they walked me through all of the steps to ensure the night was successful and executed it perfectly."
Family-owned by the Rivas brothers, Roberto and Alex, in Germantown since 2015.
Every visit from November 27 through December 31 sends you home with a sealed holiday box. Do not open it. Bring it back between January 1 and February 13, and we open it at the table. Inside: free margaritas, free dinner entrées, free appetizers, a free Avion shooter, free dessert, and one box somewhere in the stack holding a $500 gift certificate.
A holiday party is a lot of visits at once. The boxes come with them.
Fine print: boxes must be returned unopened between January 1 and February 13. One box redeemed per table, per check, for parties of 1 to 50 people. Cannot be combined with other offers. Boxes hold no cash value. Señor Tequila's reserves the right to cancel, void or change the offer at any time.
Most people decide standing in the room. Tours take fifteen minutes, and Tomas replies within 24 hours.
